Shaw Farm sits hits high on the Wiltshire downs, with the ancient Wansdyke just yards away. We are in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and the farmyard where I held classes in old converted buildings opens right out into the fields. I feel very lucky to have met Chris and ended up in this wonderful place.
My daughter, Eleanor, and her family have moved into Shaw House, now called Shaw Farm, while I am across the yard in a wonderful new house. I converted an old calf shed and am very snug and happy.
I miss my teaching but mostly because I miss the many friends I made who came here year after year. Age catches up with everyone and though I feel well and happy I can see the next decade looming!
